Remind you of Anyone?!

Do these treats remind you of a certain Chateaux Royale resident? Enough said, me thinks... xx

Ooooooooooh, I am very excited! Excited by the fact that I have only just figured out how to put video's on this blog thingy, after hours of trying - and failing - before! So, in order to show of my new found skills, I am, after about six months, putting up the Hallow'een Party video! More will follow shortly... Gotta keep the interest going, y'know? Enjoy! xx

The Beckhams in Bristol!

Yes, Dear Friends! Your eyes do no deceive you! This is a photograph of the wonderful Victoria Beckham in Bristol, taken last week. However, what is even more exciting is the fact that her, and the gawwwwwwwwwgeous David, stayed in the Hotel Du Vin. For those of you who haven't been there, it's quite a classy joint - I can recommend it. Me and Al have frequented the Hotel Du Vin on more than one occasion. Anyway, my point is that the Hotel Du Vin is over the road from the dive that is Nelson House! Yes, that's right, THE Nelson House, former home of many of the current residents of La Chateaux! You can even see the eye-sore that is Nelson House in the above photo!

Drink The Bar Dry...

Q: What do you get if you have all-inclusive-drink-antics, a bunch of gays, a token girl and the gay-friendly-straight-guy at the Shilling?

A: An extremely messy night!

That's right dearly departed folk who may have once resided in Bristol, the Shilling decided it would be a good idea to have a one-off entry fee of twenty quid on Saturday, followed by unlimited free drink once inside. It may sound like a good idea - that's what everybody thought on Saturday night - but the harsh reality of it is, we are a nation of binge drinking Boozehounds who don't know when to admit we've had enough! Part of that may be experience talking, but from the general concensus of those involved (after speaking to them on Sunday) it appears that I am correct.

I would also like to take this opportunity to point out that I was reluctant to buy a wristband as a) I'm extremely tight and b) I had work on Sunday morning, and didn't want to feel like crap whilst serving scented candles and overpriced cushions to the masses. However, after giving the matter some serious contemplation, I decided I would part with my money and join in with the booze-fuelled-fun! Despite this, I did stop drinking alcohol at about 1am and switched to Coke, so I didn't feel all that bad come Sunday... Yes that's right! Me, turning down free alcohol! There *is* a first for everything!

Forget "Where's Wally?", think "Where's Wilma?" instead!

Pentipeptides?!

Haaaaaaaaaaaaaang on one cotton pickin' minute! Is that not our absent housemate, Elle? Has she skipped Bristol in favour of a career in advertising?!

No, it's just Nadine Baggot, Celebrity Beauty Editor, of course! But for those of you who know the Botwright, you'll agree! Nadine Baggot *is* Elle in about forty years!

We're Back!

Hey Folks!
Sorry to all you avid Chateaux Royale fans for the lack of Blog-age recently, but three of us have been locked up in various classrooms across Bristol, responsible for educating the little Bristolians... but alas, our final teaching placements are over now and we can return to the "student lifestyle" we enjoy so well!
Lots of stuff has been going on in Le Chateaux lately; Firstly, the lovely Ben returned from Hong Kong to cause mayhem in Bristol for a few days. As always, chaose descended on Bristol, far too much alcohol was consumed and hangovers followed the next day.

The Gays, reunited.

Ben and Becca, "the dead leopard", not a blow-up doll!

Building works have also started on the Chateaux. Again. Apparently, we're having a conservatory and downstairs toilet built. It's meant to be completed within six weeks, although it seems to be progressing rather slowly at the moment as the builders seem to be concerned with renovating the cronky old house next door instead.

Our conservatory, an artists impression based on the plans.

However, I must add, there is an uber-fit builder who likes to wander around in skimpy little shorts who is gawwwwwwwwwwwgeous! So that compensates slightly...

I'll try and keep this updated a bit more regularly now and stop being so rubbash!

Love to all.

Moo xx

PS. And for the record Ben, Chateaux Royale is in Clifton according to our address. Honest.
